Hi, I’m Kerri! I am a mom of two, outdoor enthusiast, and lifelong book lover.
The name Under the Northern Lights comes from one of my favorite memories: standing with my husband at our campground, watching the sky come alive with ribbons of color. The sense of awe and wonder I felt reminded me of how stories can also feel magical, unexpected and beautiful.
Here, I share the books that move me, scare me, or simply make me fall in love with reading all over again. You’ll find a mix of genres including psychological horror, immersive fantasy, fast-paced thrillers, and the occasional surprise that I never saw coming.
When I’m not reading, you’ll find me spending time with my kids and my husband, ideally enjoying the great outdoors. This space is a reflection of the simple joys of stories, nature and connection.
